1. WHO IS THE DATA CONTROLLER FOR YOUR DATA

2. TYPE OF DATA

Depending on the products, services, or platform functionalities you intend to use from time to time, as indicated above, certain data may be required more than others.

In general, the data processed may include:

3. PURPOSE OF PROCESSING, LEGAL BASIS AND RETENTION PERIOD

Below are indicated, depending on the types of services and/or functionalities requested, the purposes of processing, the legal basis on which the data is processed, and how long it is retained.

(Art. 6.1.b GDPR) Data necessary for the fulfillment of contractual obligations and administrative and accounting purposes are retained for up to 10 years.
Processing of requests received through customer service channels Your personal data will be processed to manage requests, process complaints and product warranties, and provide technical support via email, phone calls, and social media. Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) For the time strictly necessary for handling requests (and in any case, no longer than 36 months from the date of receipt of the request).
Marketing purposes We will process your personal data to manage your newsletter subscription and to send you personalized information about our products or services using various electronic communication methods (e.g., email or SMS). You can unsubscribe from the Outlet Newsletter at any time through:
  • A specific link at the bottom of each Newsletter;
  • A request to the Contact Center.

For promotional actions (e.g., for conducting contests or forwarding your saved item list to the email address you provided).
Consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR) 24 months from the date of granting marketing consent
Analysis of platform and service usage (cookies) to improve user experience and commercial offerings When you access the site, your navigation data and interaction with social channels will be processed for analytical and statistical purposes, i.e., to understand how users interact with the site to allow us to improve it. Consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR) Until navigation data is anonymized as stated in the cookie policy in the cookie bar.


4. SHARING INFORMATION WITH OTHER PARTIES

For the purposes indicated in this policy, your personal data may be communicated to other companies controlled by the Data Controller or to third parties operating in collaboration with the Data Controller in the provision of services, duly appointed as data processors or authorized persons. These include:

  • Financial institutions and companies specializing in online payments and fraud detection and prevention.
  • Technology service providers.
  • Logistics, transport, and delivery service providers and collaborators.
  • Customer service providers.
  • Marketing and advertising service providers, collaborators, and partners.


Furthermore, for all purposes indicated in the privacy policy, your data may also be communicated abroad, within or outside the European Union, in compliance with the rights and guarantees provided by current legislation and after verifying the adequacy of the level of protection guaranteed by the third country.



Finally, your data will be processed by internal resources within the Data Controller's offices, adequately instructed, who operate as personnel authorized to process personal data.

 

5. RIGHTS CONCERNING THE DATA YOU PROVIDE US

We inform you that you have the right to ask the Data Controller to access your personal data and to rectify it if inaccurate, to erase it or restrict its processing if the conditions are met, or to object to its processing for legitimate interests pursued by our Company, as well as to obtain the portability of the data provided, only if it is subject to automated processing based on your consent or on the contract.

You also have the right to withdraw the consent given for processing purposes that require it, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing carried out until the time of withdrawal.

You can exercise these rights by contacting Benetton Group S.r.l. at the contact details indicated in point 1 and indicating the right you intend to exercise.

In particular, you can exercise the right to data erasure pursuant to art. 17 of the GDPR by contacting us through the form https://outletbenetton.com/pages/contact and selecting the reason "cancellation of personal data".

If deemed necessary for your identification, we may ask you to provide us with a copy of a document proving your identity.

Please note that if you have registered for the services as a user, you can also access the appropriate personal data section of your account for modification or update. In any case, please note that by actively providing us with your personal data through any means, you guarantee its veracity and accuracy and undertake to notify us of any changes. Any loss or damage caused to the Controller or a third party due to erroneous, inaccurate, or incomplete information reported in the registration forms will be the sole responsibility of the user. In general, you are required to provide us only with your personal data, not third-party data, except as provided by the privacy and cookie policy.

We also inform you that you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) for the protection of personal data.

6. AMENDMENTS TO THE POLICY

When deemed appropriate, we may amend the information contained in this policy. In such a case, we will notify you in various ways (e.g., publication on websites, newsletters, with a banner, a pop-up, or a push notification) or by sending a specific email if the change affects the purposes for which the data was collected, so that you can review the changes, make your evaluations and, if necessary, object to or cancel any services or functions.
